The Kemptville 73's players, coaches, management and volunteers pride themselves on being a part of the North Grenville community.
Our involvement in the community is just a small way in which we can say "Thanks for your support." Each player on our team must appreciate that at all times they represent the 73's organization and that, as elite hockey players in this small community, they are admired by the public, young and older.
We firmly believe that the players' commitment of personal time towards the community also strongly lends itself to the players' own personal development.
As a player with the Kemptville 73's, some of the events that you can expect to participate in include:
Rotary Canada Day Parade
Ferguson Forest Centre Trail Clean-Up
Legion Breakfasts
Remembrance Day Commemoration
Support local charities
Big Brothers Big sisters in school Mentor Program
Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser
Santa Claus Parade
Family Literacy Day - Reading with Elementary School students
Participate in local schools' skating days
"Pure Sport" lectures in schools
Assisting with minor hockey practices
As a Kemptville 73's player you can expect to participate in these events at least once a month over the course of the season.
