The Kemptville 73's invite all returning 73's veteran players, 73's drafted players and free agent players (local or import) born between 1990 and 1994, with "permission to skate" from their registered clubs to our Main Camp, The Main Camp will commence on Friday July 9, to be held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
The
Main Camp is by invitation only. If you are a free agent you must complete the online e-Resume and be advised by the club that your application has been accepted. For those players who attended the Prospect Camp in April and have been invited to the Main Camp, please confirm your planned attendance with an email to
camp@kemptville73s.comThe Main Camp fee is $200, payable to the Kemptville 73's. The Main Camp fee is payable by all players attending. The Main Camp fee is non-refundable if the player cancels after June 18. If the Player cancels before June 18, a $50 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
Each player will have a 1.5 hour game (Friday night), two (2) 1.5 hour games on Saturday and a 2 hour game on Sunday. To accommodate the number of qualified goalie applicants, we have supplemented our Main Camp with a one-hour "goalies only" session on Friday evening, before the games.
On Saturday, the coaching staff and management will host a healthy lunch for the players (parents and siblings can atttend and purchase a lunch also) to describe the 73's program and answer your questions. Following the camp, each player will be advised of their status with the 73's - either an invitation to return to the 2010-11 Training Camp or advised to seek out opportunities with other teams.
It is our intention to have only approximately 30 players attend our Training Camp at the end of August. All of those players will either be offered a roster spot and/or the opportunity to affiliate with the 73's for the coming season. There will be no fee charged to those players who attend the Training Camp.
You should plan to attend either camp in season-ready condition. With five (5) graduating players and the team's commitment to improve its performance year over year, roster spots are available to those who impress our staff with their skills, fitness, competitiveness and attitude.
The volume of enquiries has been outstanding and the competition promises to be stiff. If it is your desire to play in the premiere Junior A league in Canada, on a team that is committed to improving its overall performance while advancing its individual players, do not delay in applying.
Due to the high volume of goaltender applicants and the limited number of available goaltender spots in the camp, goaltender applications will be accepted and reviewed. Approval of goaltender applicants will be made by June 11, 2010.
APPLICATION
Complete and submit your on-line Player E-Resume on the website at the "Contact" tab.
In the comments section be sure to indicate that you are applying for the Main Camp.
The 73's will review your application and advise you of your status.
If your application is accepted, you will be notified via email and a camp spot will be held for two weeks, pending receipt of payment. If payment is not received, your spot will be relinquished.
Payment is $200, payable to the Kemptville 73's. The Main Camp fee is non-refundable if the player cancels after June 18. If the Player cancels before June 18, a $50 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
