Kemptville - As predicted the fans in Hockeyville were blessed with an old-time hockey game tonight with a lot on the line. The match-up had Carleton Place visiting, four points behind the 73's for the last play-off spot... the proverbial 4-point game.

Fast-paced action, huge hits (can you say AARRGGOO!) and stellar goaltending by Messrs. Curley and Shackell, who have faced each other many times over the past decade.

In the end, the good guys prevailed 2-1 and now take their 6-point lead and balanced attack into the cozy confines of Carleton Place tonight.

The fans in attendance were entertained for sure.
