Kemptville - The Kemptville 73's are pleased to announce the acquisition of premium CJHL forward Jordan Hacker ('88) from Hawkesbury. Jordan put up very impressive numbers in Hawkesbury last season, scoring 14 goals and adding 40 assists for 54 points in 55 games. Jordan brings to Kemptville veteran experience, leadership and playmaking abilities that place him among the best in the league. Jordan was humbled by the interest expressed by the many CJHL teams to secure his playing rights. When advised of the trade, Jordan said he was excited to be moving to Kemptville and looking forward to doing everything he can to help the team get to the play-offs. In exchange, Kemptville transferred the rights to Shane Kitchen ('90 Forward). Shane is a resident of Alexandria and the 73's felt that moving Shane to the Hawks presents him with the best opportunity for playing time and playing closer to home.
