The 73’s opened the scoring with a goal from Ashton Fry (2) and assists from beat and Thousand which was followed by a goal from MacCormick (1) from Poirier making the score 1-1.
Meyer (1) put one in the net from Williams and Dick at 4:35 in the second. Massie (1) returned for the Colts from Mulhearn at 7:06. McLean (2) took the lead back for the 73’s with assists from Samson and Beaton at 8:03 and Domitrovic (1) put another in at 9:23 from Titus. The Colts evened the score by the end of the second with goals from Bishop (1) from Shankar and Massie and from Poirier (1) from MacCormick.
Jacob Thousand (5) took the lead back with assists from Beaton and Fry at 1:46 in the third. The Colts tied the game up at 10:17 sending the game in OT with MacCormick (2) getting his second of the game from Tanner and McRae.
Tristan Poissant (2) scored the game winning goal at 4:57 of OT.
The 73’s (4-1-1-0) head to Pembroke Sunday September 16th for their next game.
