Following your Kemptville 73’s has never been easier!
For the first time, all 55 regular season games and playoffs can be heard live on the Kemptville 73’s Radio Network! Veteran broadcaster Casey Kenny is the new voice of the 73’s after a career that has seen him call games and championships for the Stratford Warriors of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League and numerous other clubs along the way.
“I’m beyond thrilled to join the 73’s and to be bringing their passionate fans all the action this season” Kenny says. “Brett Bonnisteel set the bar high as the previous play-by-play voice of this team and I’m so appreciative to him, General Manager Terry Nichols as well as Head Coach and Owner Shawn Fensel, as well as Wes Cory, for this amazing opportunity.”
The broadcasts get started this weekend at the 2024 CCHL Thanksgiving Showcase with the 73’s taking on the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Saturday afternoon and the Rockland Nationals on Sunday afternoon.
All fans will have to do to listen is click on the link on the team’s website with the action starting 15 minutes prior to the start of the game.
