HAPPY HOLIDAYS

This holiday season is unlike any other, to cap off a year unlike any other. Throughout this season, and as we move into a new (and hopefully better) year, we wish you moments of peace amid the difficulties, connections with family and friends even if they can’t be in person, the warmth of memories from holidays past, and wonderful glimpses of the joy that still lives under the surface.

This last year has not been a good year for anyone, and our hockey team has had to work through many challenges.  We wanted to share with you what we have been doing since the outbreak of Covid 19.  Working with our league, health officials and the local municipality we have been able to provide a modified and safe hockey program for our players.  While the league has not officially started, we have been able to safely practice and participate in developmental scrimmages with our bubble team, the Nepean Raiders.  Unfortunately we have not been able to accommodate fans but we have broadcasted the games on Hockey TV and Facebook live.  If you are not following us on Facebook, twitter (@kemptville73s) or instgram (@kemptville.73s).

With new vaccines on the way things are looking brighter for 2021.  We are optimistic that a modified season will still be possible and fans may be able to get back in the rink to watch their 73’s play.  We will keep you up to date as plans progress for the hockey season.

We hope you are all well and want to wish our Fans, Volunteers and Sponsors a safe and happy holiday season.

We look forward to Hockey in 2021!
