John Beaton Named CCHL 2018-19 CCHL Sportsmanship & Ability Award Winner

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kemptville 73’s forward John Beaton is the 2018-19 CCHL Sportsmanship & Ability Award Winner.

The 2000 born Stittsville, ON native is second in 73’s scoring with 45 points (12G, 33A) in 53 games of action, more than doubling his output from last season while only registering 16 minutes in penalties.

A graduate of the Kemptville U18 AAA program, Beaton also represented the CCHL Robinson Division at this years Eastern Canada Cup in Quinte West, helping his team to a 1st place finish, while also representing Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in Bonnyville, AB.
