Kent and Cory Wilson to Coach u18 AAA 73’s

The 73’s are very pleased to announce Kent and Cory Wilson as our new u18 AAA coaches. This father-son duo come with many years experience combined and on their own.

Kent will be taking on the roll as Head Coach and brings over two decades of coaching experience at a variety of levels including AAA and Jr. B. His coaching experience extends past hockey into soccer, baseball and lacrosse as well. Kent brings a wide variety of skill set including Academic Advisor from 2015-2018 of the Brockville Braves Jr. A organization. Most recently Kent has been the Head Coach of the Upper Canada Cyclones 2006 birth year for the last two season. He holds his HP Development 1 Canadian National Coaching Certificate as well as his USA Hockey Education Program Associate and Intermediate levels.

Joining Kent as associate coach will be Cory Wilson. Cory has served as assistant coach to the 2006 birth year Upper Canada Cyclones for the last two years. Prior to this Cory was an Assistant Coach with the Carleton Ravens Men’s Hockey Team from 2017-2018. Cory holds his Development 1 Canadian National Coaching Certificate and is working towards obtaining his HP Development 1 Certificate. Prior to starting his coaching career Cory played 3 seasons with the Brockville Braves Jr. A from there he went on to play NCAA Division III at Westfield State University. Cory finished his playing career with the Carleton Ravens Men’s hockey team.
