Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Kemptville 73’s are pleased to announced that defenseman Evan Mitchell has committed to NCAA St. Lawrence University for the 2021-22 season.
The 2002 born Kanata, ON native is in his first season with the 73’s after spending the past two seasons with Kemptville’s U18 program in HEO Midget AAA. In 84 career games with Kemptville U18, Mitchell totaled 46 points (13G, 33A).
Mitchell is the first player to make an NCAA commitment for the 2021-22 season.
