GAME 1: Kemptville 4, Navan 3 (OT)
In an exciting overtime finish at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, the Kemptville 73’s edged the Navan Grads 4–3, with Achim scoring just 16 seconds into overtime to complete the comeback victory. Kemptville opened the scoring early in the first period on a goal by Voisey, but Navan responded in the second with back-to-back tallies from Lindsay and D’Urso to take the lead. Lindsay added another in the third to extend Navan’s advantage to 3–1 before Kemptville rallied late, as captain McDougall struck on the power play and Venance tied the game in the final minute of regulation. Kemptville carried the momentum into overtime, where Achim quickly sealed the win, while Donovan made 20 saves for the victory and Flemming stood strong in defeat with 37 saves as Kemptville outshot Navan 41–23.
GAME 2: Kemptville 6, Navan 3
The Kemptville 73’s pulled away in the third period to defeat the Navan Grads 6–3 at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, breaking open what had been a tightly contested game through two periods. Navan struck first on a Kaufman goal, but Kemptville responded quickly with a power-play marker from Mbarushimana, and the teams traded goals throughout the second, entering the third tied 3–3. Kemptville then took over, as Kulas scored his second of the night on the power play early in the frame, followed by goals from Ouellette and Voisey to seal the win. The 73’s dominated territorially, outshooting Navan 43–16, while Venance and Achim each contributed multiple assists in the victory; Donovan earned the win with 13 saves, while Flemming was busy in defeat, stopping 37 shots.
GAME 3: Navan 3, Kemptville 0
The Navan Grads earned a solid 3–0 shutout victory over the Kemptville 73’s at the Navan Memorial Centre, powered by a perfect performance from goaltender Flemming, who stopped all 36 shots he faced. After a scoreless first period, Navan broke through in the second with Kaufman opening the scoring before Paris doubled the lead late in the frame, both goals coming with help from Lindsay as the trio connected offensively. Kemptville pushed back with a strong shot advantage, but couldn’t solve Flemming, and Paris sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final minute to complete his two-goal night. Donovan was solid in net for Kemptville with 27 saves, but the 73’s were unable to capitalize on their chances, finishing 0-for-4 on the power play while Navan also went scoreless with the man advantage.
GAME 4: Kemptville 4, Navan 3 (OT)
The Kemptville 73’s staged an impressive comeback to defeat the Navan Grads 4–3 in double overtime, overcoming an early two-goal deficit on the road. Navan jumped out to a 3–1 lead in the first period, but Kemptville responded with key power-play goals from Kulas and captain McDougall to shift momentum, before Henderson tied the game in the third to force overtime. After a scoreless first extra frame, McDougall struck again in double overtime to seal the win, capping a resilient performance in which the 73’s narrowly outshot Navan 53–50 and showed persistence in a tightly contested battle.
GAME 5: Kemptville 3, Navan 2 (OT)
The Kemptville 73’s earned a hard-fought 3–2 double-overtime victory over the Navan Grads at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, dominating play and showing persistence in a marathon contest. Kemptville struck first on a Voisey power-play goal late in the opening period and extended their lead in the second with Venance finishing a setup from Kulas and Achim. Navan battled back to tie the game, but the 73’s continued to control the pace, heavily outshooting the Grads 53–29 and generating sustained pressure throughout regulation and overtime. After a scoreless first extra frame, Henderson finally broke through late in the second overtime, converting a feed from Venance and Achim to seal the win, while Donovan made 27 saves in goal and Flemming was outstanding in defeat with 50 saves under constant pressure.
