The 73's crushed the Braves 6-2

The Kemptville 73's' offense had a big night, peppering the Brockville Braves with 49 shots throughout the game. The Kemptville 73's took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Joel Frazee and never looked back.

John Beaton chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Joseph Samson did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Jonathon Balah contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Beaton opened the scoring for Kemptville with a goal at 7:03 with helpers from his linemates, Holtrop and Samson. Pawlikowski deposited a goal at 9:25 with helpers from teammates Wood and Jefferies. Frazee netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 12:50 with an assist from defenseman Mclean.

During the second, Meyer scored a goal at 3:46 with helpers from his linemates, Domitrovic and Awada. Balah finally put Brockville on the board with a goal at 12:09 with assists from Schaly and Fine-Leese.

In the third period, Williams answered for Kemptville with a goal at 2:59 with helpers from Bond and Titus. Casey answered for the Braves with a goal at 7:18 with an assist from defenseman Balah. Samson answered for the 73’s with a goal at 13:40 with helpers from his linemates, Beaton and Holtrop.

The 73’s’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Fiske as he stopped 16 of the 16 shots he faced. Fiske’s counterpart, Wesolek, also had a big night, managing to stop 22 of 26, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (3-1-0-0).
