The 73’s defeat the Grads 3-1

The Kemptville 73’s’ offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 35 shots throughout the game. The Kemptville 73’s took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Ryan Pawlikowski.

Ryan Pawlikowski chipped in with 2 goals and Ashton Fry did his part, adding 2 assists.

In the first, Pawlikowski opened the scoring for the 73’s with a goal at 2:43 with helpers from Taylor and Patterson. Way ‘a’answered for the Grads with a goal at 16:16.

During the second, Pawlikowski answered for Kemptville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:02 with assists from his linemates, Fry and Taylor. Mclean quickly followed with a goal at 5:26 with helpers from Fry and Thousand.

The 73’s’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Fiske as he stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced. Fiske’s counterpart, Carter, also had a big night, managing to stop 32 of 35, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (2-0-0-0).
