The 73’s defeat the Grads 3-1 in School Day Game

The Kemptville 73’s’ offense had a big afternoon in front of 873 fans, peppering the Navan Grads with 38 shots throughout the game. The Kemptville 73’s took the lead early in the second on a goal from Thomas Daskas.

Joel Frazee delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the first period, Patterson opened the scoring for the 73’s with a goal at 16:57 with helpers from his teammates Frazee and Titus.

During the second, Daskas put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:16 with assists from Thousand and Hunter “c”.

In the third, Fabbro finally put Navan on the board with a goal at 6:52 with a helper from his linemate Breton ‘a’. Domitrovic answered for the 73’s with a goal at 19:42 with assists from Frazee and Bondy.

Kemptville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Lukenda’s big night as he stopped 28 of the 29 shots he faced. Lukenda’s counterpart, Giacobbo, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 37, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (17-36-1-2).
