The 73’s fall to the Lumber Kings 7-5

Nick Bond came up big, stopping 40 of 46 shots throughout the game. The Pembroke Lumber Kings took the lead late in the third on a goal from Connor Warnholtz.

Cameron Mclean delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jared Patterson did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Connor Warnholtz had a busy night with 2 goals and Malcolm Arseneau chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Dennison opened the scoring for Kemptville with a goal at 7:37 with helpers from Pawlikowski and York. Arseneau answered for the Lumber Kings with a goal at 14:37 with helpers from his teammates Browne and Douglas. Patterson quickly followed with a goal at 14:48. Warnholtz answered for Pembroke with a goal at 19:03 with assists from Egan and Arseneau. Mcintyre quickly followed with a goal at 19:55 with assists from Derraugh and Dempsey.

In the second period, Kiefer answered for the 73’s with a goal at 4:39 with a helper from his defensive partner, Patterson. Pudrycki answered for Pembroke with a goal at 6:59 with an assist from defenseman Douglas. Mclean answered for the 73’s with a goal at 12:34 with a helper from Pawlikowski. Fry scored a goal at 17:29 with assists from Mclean and Thousand.

During the third period, Arseneau answered for the Lumber Kings with a goal at 10:39. Warnholtz deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:58 with helpers from Dempsey and Douglas. Browne quickly followed with a goal at 18:27 with an assist from his linemate Collins.

This loss brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (4-2-1-0).
