The Kemptville 73's' defense had a poor night, allowing the Rockland Nationals 33 shots throughout the game. The Rockland Nationals took the lead early in the third on a goal from Connor Beatty.
Cole Lavoie ‘a’did his part, adding 2 assists.
During the first period, Shields ‘c’opened the scoring for Rockland with a goal at 7:32 with a helper from Lavoie ‘a’. Keating deposited a goal at 19:32 with assists from teammates Vermaeten and Stanley.
In the second, Hunter finally put the 73’s on the board with a goal at 9:39 with helpers from Taillon and Rowe . Samanski netted a goal at 16:05 with assists from his linemates, Kirkby and Fry.
During the third period, Beatty answered for the Nationals with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:12 with helpers from his linemates, Coykendall and Lavoie ‘a’.
This loss brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (3-14-0-1).
