In the second, Nielsen opened the scoring for Kemptville with a goal at 7:34 with an assist from Schroeder. Dunne finally put Nepean on the board with a goal at 17:07 with a helper from Shimizu.
During the third period, Venne netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:53 with assists from his linemates, Marcotte and Rogers.
