The 73's struggled against the Braves 6-3 in home game

The Kemptville 73's struggled against the Brockville Braves allowing Philippe Gilmour to score a hat trick as the 73's crushed Brockville 6-3 in a home game at Brockville Memorial Centre in Kemptville. In addition, the 73's' defense had a poor night, allowing the Braves 27 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead late in the second on a goal from Philippe Gilmour.

Nicholas Hawkins contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Tyson Kirkby had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 assists.

In the first period, Vlahos opened the scoring for the Braves with a goal at 4:03 with helpers from his teammates Jarvis and Mcarthur. Gilmour deposited a goal at 18:01 with helpers from Kirkby and Jarvis.

In the second, Gilmour netted a goal at 5:06 with assists from Jarvis and Hawkins. Conley quickly followed with a goal at 6:10 with a helper from defenseman Kiefer. Faith scored a goal at 15:23 with assists from his linemates, Thousand and Fry. Gilmour answered for Brockville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:53 with helpers from Fraser and Kirkby.

During the third, Jefferson put in a goal at 1:42 with assists from Holland and Mcmahon. Beaton answered for the 73’s with a goal at 5:51 with helpers from his linemates, Mcgrath and Taillon. Hawkins answered for the Braves with a goal at 18:08 with assists from Jarvis and Kirkby.

This loss brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (5-17-0-1).
