The 73's struggled against the Colts 7-1 in home game

The Kemptville 73's struggled against the Cornwall Colts allowing Chris Theodore to score a hat trick as the 73's crushed Cornwall 7-1 in a home game at North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville. What's more, the 73's' defense had a poor night, allowing the Colts 36 shots throughout the game. The Cornwall Colts took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Justin Mcrae.

Cameron Hebert chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Keegan Mulhearn had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the second period, Theodore opened the scoring for Cornwall with a goal at 4:12. Mcrae quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:39 with a helper from Mammas. Mulhearn put in a goal at 10:37 with an assist from fellow Colts forward Mulhearn. Theodore deposited a goal at 17:21 with a helper from his linemate Mulhearn. Hebert quickly followed with a goal at 17:43 with assists from Samson and Poirier. Samanski quickly followed with a goal at 17:55 with a helper from defenseman Giguere.

During the third, Theodore answered for the Colts with a goal at 4:56. Poirier scored a goal at 9:33 with assists from teammates Mulhearn and Hebert.

This loss brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (2-7-0-0).
