The 73's struggled against the Colts 9-3 in home game

The Kemptville 73's struggled against the Cornwall Colts allowing Jeremy Quesnel and Konnor Maccormick to score hat tricks as the 73's crushed Cornwall 9-3 in a home game at Ed Lumley Arena in Kemptville. Moreover, the 73's' defense had a poor night, allowing the Colts 26 shots throughout the game. The Cornwall Colts took the lead late in the second on a goal from David A Poirier.

Ashton Fry delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Ethan Mulhearn did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Justin Mcrae chipped in with 2 assists.

During the third, Samson put in a goal at 0:58 with helpers from his linemates, Quesnel and Markell. Frazee answered for Kemptville with a goal at 5:56 with assists from Fry and Macdonald. Maccormick answered for the Colts with a goal at 8:37 with helpers from Poirier and Markell. Quesnel put in a goal at 15:48 with assists from Hebert and Poirier. Mulhearn deposited a goal at 19:24 with helpers from Mcrae and Sandilands.

This loss brings the Kemptville 73’s’ record to (7-28-0-1).
