The Kemptville 73's struggled against the Kanata Lasers allowing Jack Quinn to score a hat trick as the 73's crushed Kanata 5-2 in a home game at North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville. The Kanata Lasers took the lead late in the first on a goal from Jack Quinn and never looked back.

During the first period, Stockdale opened the scoring for the Lasers with a goal at 7:01 with a helper from his linemate Manderville. Quinn quickly followed with a goal at 7:14 with a helper from Nocita. Conley finally put Kemptville on the board with a goal at 19:25 with an assist from Fry. Quinn quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:58 with an assist from his linemate Nocita.
During the second period, Taillon answered for the 73’s with a goal at 17:17 with helpers from his linemates, Fry and Kirkby .
In the third, Quinn answered for Kanata with a goal at 5:54 with a helper from Nocita. Larsen netted a goal at 18:01 with an assist from his teammate Sleeth.
