In a Friday, January 16, 2026 CCHL game at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, the Kemptville 73’s topped the Cornwall Colts 5–4 in a shootout after a back-and-forth battle saw Kemptville open the scoring before Cornwall took a 2–1 first-period lead, and both teams traded markers through the second and third periods — including a power-play goal by Kemptville’s Mullins — to force overtime; with the score tied after 65 minutes, Kemptville converted twice in the shootout to seal the win, supported by Donovan’s 26 saves, while Cornwall’s Poitras stopped 39 of 43 shots.
Rockland 5, Kemptville 3
