Kemptville 7, Hawkesbury 3
Kemptville dominated Hawkesbury 7-3 in a high-scoring affair, led by a strong offensive performance and effective power play. Hawkesbury initially took control with two quick goals from Bandu and Perron in the first period, but Kemptville quickly answered with Stubbings’ power-play goal. Venance scored late in the first to keep Kemptville within striking distance. The second period was all Kemptville as Fehr scored twice and Stubbings added another, giving Kemptville a 6-3 lead. Mbarushimana also netted a goal to extend the lead further. In the third, Kemptville sealed the win with Bennett’s power-play goal, while Hawkesbury struggled to generate offense despite getting 33 shots on net. Kemptville outshot Hawkesbury 35-33, with Donovan making 30 saves in the victory. Hawkesbury’s penalty troubles also played a role, as they went 0-for-5 on the power play, while Kemptville converted 2 of 4 opportunities.

Kemptville 6, Nepean 4
Kemptville defeated Nepean 6-4 in a high-scoring game fueled by strong special teams play. Kemptville took an early 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from McDougall and O’Doherty, both supported by power plays. Nepean responded with Williamson’s power-play goal at 12:58 to close the gap. In the second period, Kemptville capitalized on more power-play opportunities, with goals from Beaulieu, Fehr, and Stubbings to make it 5-2. Nepean fought back with two goals, one from Etchart and another from Yates, but Kemptville held strong. In the third, McDougall extended Kemptville’s lead with a power-play goal at 0:35, while Yates added another for Nepean at 6:24, but it wasn’t enough. Kemptville went 4/4 on the power play, and despite Nepean firing 42 shots on goal, Kemptville’s goalie Bennett stood tall with 38 saves to secure the victory.
