Kemptville 0, Ottawa 1 (OT)
The Kemptville 73’s dropped a hard-fought 1–0 overtime decision to the Ottawa Junior Senators on Saturday night at Jim Durrell Sports Complex, with both teams battling through three scoreless periods before Ottawa’s Graham scored just 33 seconds into overtime to secure the win. Kemptville controlled much of the offensive play, outshooting Ottawa 32–19 and generating 11 shots in each of the first and third periods, but the Jr. Senators goaltender Reburn stood tall with a 32-save shutout. Turpin was equally strong for the 73’s, stopping 18 of 19 shots, as Kemptville’s defensive effort kept the game deadlocked through regulation. Despite the narrow loss, the 73’s earned a point in the standings with a strong road performance against Ottawa.
