The Kemptville 73’s defeated the Hawkesbury Hawks 5–1 on February 27, 2026 at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, outshooting Hawkesbury 54–23 and controlling play throughout the game. Kemptville scored twice in the first period with goals from Achim and Venance, added another from captain McDougall in the second, and sealed the win with third-period goals by Davis and Mbarushimana, while Hawkesbury’s lone goal came late in the second period from Lalonde. Despite several penalties for both teams, neither side converted on the power play, and Kemptville goaltender Donovan made 22 saves to secure the victory.
