Carleton Place secured a 5-0 victory over Kemptville, with Froysland scoring twice and Ferguson stopping all 30 shots for the shutout. Froysland opened the scoring late in the first period, and Carleton Place added goals from Pardy and Blaseg in the second. Froysland extended the lead on a power play early in the third, and Hapke capped the scoring in the final minute. Kemptville’s goaltenders, Donovan and Bennett, combined for 25 saves. Carleton Place went 1-for-4 on the power play, while Kemptville was 0-for-3. With only 2 games remaining in the season the 73’s will look to regroup in hopes of securing a playoff position.
