Kemptville earned a 3-1 win over Nepean, scoring all three of their goals in the second period. Sweetapple opened the scoring early, followed by a goal from Trottier to extend the lead. Nepean responded with a power-play goal from Freel, but Fehr restored Kemptville’s two-goal advantage before the period ended. Neither team found the back of the net in the third. Kemptville’s Bennett made 31 saves on 32 shots, while Nepean’s Brant stopped 28 of 31. Nepean went 1-for-6 on the power play, while Kemptville was 0-for-3.
